A Winery Sheltered by a 15th-Century Charterhouse
Costers del Priorat was born in the heart of Les Solanes del Molar, at the southernmost and sunniest point of the D.O.Q. Priorat. The winery, housed in an old 15th-century Carthusian farmhouse, blends tradition and modernity with a production capacity of up to 90,000 liters per vintage.
The vineyards, planted on slate terraces between 150 and 180 meters above sea level, feature licorella, Grenache (55%), Carignan (30%), White Grenache (5%), and other varieties. With vines aged between 10 and 60 years, they yield healthy, expressive grapes that form the essence of these wines.
In the underground cellars, over 100 oak barrels and foudres, along with several ceramic amphorae, allow for aging that honors the Priorat identity and enhances the unique character of our land.
The vineyards of Costers del Priorat span eight villages with a Priorat soul: El Molar, Bellmunt del Priorat, Gratallops, Masos de Falset, La Vilella Baixa, Torroja del Priorat, Porrera, and La Morera de Montsant. A mosaic of soils and landscapes that give life to wines with a unique character.
